          This short comic strip shows the alternative ending that I created for the book. It shows how the policemen went to the Secret Annex after someone had tipped them off, only to find that no one is in there. Apparently, Anne and everyone else from the Secret Annex had escaped and planned to lead a new life ahead of them.
