I don't think the book’s ending was good as it ended way too abruptly. It keeps readers in suspense, which actually is good for authors to do that, but in this case, where the author is no longer here and could not continue the unfinished story, readers know that the diary will just end then and there without a proper ending, leaving us hanging.
"If only there were no other people in the world." was the last sentence in the book and it had grabbed my attention the most. This shows that Anne only looks at what she don’t have in her life instead of appreciating the things she already have, things like her family.
The sentence above is based on her own opinion and I do not think it is not a good idea to end with personal thoughts. Therefore, I think the ending was not a good one.
